There's a lot of bits on this app about this movie but it rips. It's great. It conveys the core of the book well. It's funny. The songs go. The puppetry is excellent. There's no irony here, I just love this movie.

Major update. Momo will be seeing a specialist tomorrow the county over, where he will need to stay overnight either tonight or tomorrow night. it's going to cost me an additional $5000 on top of the $3,300 that I've already paid, but the local vets are stumped. Anything helps, please share.
