Before Europeans landed in North America, the Pacific Northwest was populated by the Coast Salish people, who had been here for thousands of years. During the 19th century, many made a living by selling woven blankets to traders. The blankets typically featured geometric designs.

At the risk of adding something constructive to this thread, we need to quit it with the naive folk-Popperian caricature of science as an exercise of pure reason unconnected to human motives and start teaching the social process of science in high school if not sooner.

Writing a literature review is thinking. It is reading, choosing, summarizing, cross pollinating ideas and building the foundations for your own research. Every part of that process is necessary to do on your own--offloading any of that onto LLMs is a sign of a crappy academic.

Something to remember is that the Techbro billionaire class were rarely the actual tech pioneers. They're the ones who bankrolled it, or engineered a controlling share interest.

They're just Railway Robber Barons 2.0.

It's why they're crap at actual tech. Their 'skill' was money, timing or theft.
