Whenever Ken Starr returns to the news, it's fun to remember that one deputy investigating Bill Clinton (and Vice Foster) was ... Brett Kavanaugh!

Extra fun to remember that GWBush FL Recount team in 2000 included Brett K, J Roberts, AC Barrett.

Plus help from FL gov Jeb Bush. Good times!
Ken Starr emailing with Epstein in 2018 is a really interesting thing to learn about!!!!!!

It's funny how many evil people randomly crop up in these. Bob Kerrey is remembered as a footnote in political history now, but he should be remembered as one of America's most prolific Vietnam war criminals:

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

Thomas Jefferson was 44 when he started in creeping on 14-year-old Sally Hemings. And Sally, who was enslaved, shared a father with Martha Wayles Jefferson—Tom's wife.

He's been dead literally centuries and the US refuses to reckon squarely with what this meant for definitions of American greatness

If so many elites weren't utterly derelict, cowardly, self-serving enablers and had some fucking ethics, the White House would probably still have its East Wing.

Instead, we have a massive, unmissable wound where arrogance, entitlement, corruption, and misogyny have literally riven the White House.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

They’r also spent several years making sure that you can’t get your hands on anything BUT Tylenol and ibuprofen so going after the last resort we’ve been left with is particularly gross and yes, absolutely on purpose
Ibuprofen is very literally the ONLY thing that helps my chronic pain. It is my lifeline.

They say this shit because they want to eliminate all disabled and chronically ill people from the face of the earth and a great way to do that is to strip us of all of the medications that help us survive.
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

America, a nation built on the legend of overthrowing dynastic rule by inbred bloodlines and not even six Presidential elections later they all went "Now hold on I think we're being a little hasty here"
Can we agree to absolutely no more people from the following families:

Kennedy
Bush
Clinton
Cuomo
Pelosi
(and OF COURSE)
Trump

Any others? Throw in Sununu just ‘cause funny name?

And if I have to make this deal with god/ the universe/satan to make the nepo ban happen, then fine: no Corbetts EVER
This man sounds wildly insufferable??? His career is “influencer”??? He has absolutely no qualifications???? He is running on the Kennedy name recognition alone???? The Times repeatedly calls him a prince??? Can we just fucking stop with this political dynasty nightmare????

dynasties are a symptom of democratic failure
- maybe high barriers to entry into politics
- maybe poor information about all candidates-> name-recognition problem
- maybe something else! but definitely not a sign of merit, fairness, or accountability
