Obviously the most convincing explanation
Hear me out, ok? Leonard was out at midnight litter picking. He slipped down the bank and the bottle he was holding was launched and hit George on the head. While George was unconscious, Hilda came and sharpened her claws on his face. Then Paul on a driving lesson runs George over. #TheArchers

I have a guide about getting off US tech if that’s still something you want to do in 2026. It’s never too late!
Silicon Valley’s alliance with Donald Trump was a mask off moment and showed the world we can’t depend on US tech companies.

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to get off US tech and I put together a guide so you find alternatives too. I hope you find it helpful!
Getting off US tech: a guide
I’m in the process of dropping US tech services. Here’s how I did it, and options you should consider.

Europe needs, collectively, to start disengaging from America - and quickly…
5. Under the Trump administration, the US is no longer an ally of Europe or Canada, it has aligned itself with Russia.

Watching online for the sunrise at Newgrange, Ireland.

A little cloudy at the moment, but hope of the sunlight breaking through shortly.

Inside the mother of all Neolithic tombs ... Newgrange in Ireland. This photo, from excavator Michael O'Kelly's book, shows the chamber (with spiral carving) that is illuminated via the famous roofbox opening at winter solstice. A 5,200-yr-old celebration of the return of the sun. #TombTuesday

In case you haven't already seen posts about this horror show of a publishing contract. The commentary here and in other threads is an tutorial in spotting red flags, and this sort of deal is something no author should EVER sign.
"In the event that the Author is unable or unwilling to continue the series for any reason—including, but not limited to, health concerns, personal circumstances, or death—the Publisher shall retain the right to produce derivative works based on the original Work and its universe."

Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

We don't then say: OK, what policy would these antisemites prefer! (We should have the right policy on its merits)
