Where do I even begin? Guillermo del Toro @realgdt.bsky.social has created an absolute masterpiece. I only wish I’d had the chance to experience it on the big screen. The story of Frankenstein has been told countless times, but never like this.

The worst part about returning from a lovely vacation is knowing in the morning you’ll be going back to work where they’re implementing a whole new computer system, and all the training took place while you were out of town.

I recommend Versailles to anyone who likes period drama, gorgeous costuming and/or these guys.
Note that the actor playing Louis XIV was a rather pitiful (to start with) captive monk in Vikings and it’s lovely seeing him get the upgrade he deserves.

I find that it’s difficult, now, to enjoy a tv show unless there’s two idiot dudes I can obsessively ship together. Versailles, my current beloved. I’m on my rewatch already for these two disaster boyfriends 😂

During my Seattle trip I realized I’m even less sure-footed than I thought! I felt like I was constantly about to trip over something, and I missed out on a couple of things because I was so afraid of steep hills and rough terrain. Maybe I need a cane for stuff like that. My doctor has been…
