Incidentally there have been two Blaines - the 1999-2000 version (the one I have) is a DJ from New York. The 2004 version is supposedly the same character, but he’s a surfer from Australia and has a completely different face and hair style. He’s such a doofus! He smelled like suntan lotion.

Someone on eBay has the whole set of his original accessories for $6. I’m hoping it’s still up there when I get home from my trip. Two turntables and a microphone!!!

Blaine’s hed iz pastede on yey. It went fairly well - I can fix some minor problems with a Dremel tool (will I buy one for a single project?) and I have stuff to fix his hair. It’s great having the articulation and I have new stands that will be great for action poses!

My Justice League colleague told me his supervillains keep mauling his sidekicks so I asked how many sidekicks he has and he said he just goes to the orphanage and picks new ones afterwards so I said it sounds like he's just offering sidekicks in sacrifice to supervillains…

You can hardly see him in the picture but Francis and Blessed have a Kinder Gecko. Francis found it on the way home from the lab. He and Blessed had agreed they weren’t going to have any pets but when Blessed saw it he was ENTRANCED.
