Imagine your job consisting of the angriest people you've ever seen in your entire life yelling at you 24/7 and throwing bottles of piss in your car while you battle the subzero elements they don't even bat an eyelash about.

Imagine the toll that takes on your psyche. May they never find peace.

Some asteroids were mined for minerals, methane or water, some served as truck stops for traffic between the outer and inner planets.

Some of those became destinations in their own right, like asteroid 52692. Covered in hydroponic tuber farms, it was the home of the famous Scalzi Space Potato.

Poll shows plurality support for abolishing ICE ... but more important, IMHO, is that "abolish" has 80% support among Dems/leaners, and plurality support among Indies.

That means there's no real risk of voter backlash if Dems in Congress actually DO it – ICE supporters will never vote D anyway.
Wow — New YouGov / Economist poll:

46% support abolishing ICE
43% oppose abolishing ICE

This is the first time that abolishing ICE has received net positive support

The fact that the administration is inventing a narrative about this woman’s murder isn’t strength.

It’s weakness.

They’re running scared and lying to themselves about how bad it is

Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

Abolish Ice, fire them all, and then prosecute everyone, based on every complaint. I don't care if it takes a decade. I want these people ten years from now afraid that their friends and loved ones will find out they worked for ICE.
If ICE can do this to a random woman in a car, they could and would absolutely do this to any elected official, journalists, human rights lawyer, or immigration advocate they deem to be an enemy of the regime
Absolutely horrific details about an ICE shooting in Minneapolis.

A witness says a woman was trying to drive away from an ICE operation and the ICE agent "reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times."

Bovino was there.

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.
