To be clear: There are plenty of infosec roles where you don't need to know these techy details.
However, there are plenty more jobs where you *do* need to know this.

If passports have to have our assigned gender at birth on them, because that helps to identify us now, then I think it's important to make passports as effective as possible by requiring them to have our birth eye color, hair color, height, and weight as well.
