If we had a network of public restrooms, you can bet Frey would be shuttering them in the name of “public safety”. www.minnpost.com/community-vo...
Where are the restrooms? Minneapolis needs more answers - MinnPost
Businesses can't take on the entire burden. The city must invest in a network of free, accessible and well-maintained public restrooms.

Elections show strong support for Dem policies.

Dem Senators cave.

Every single person says it’s a huge mistake and they shouldn’t do it.

Duckworth canary bill on ACA extension fails on party lines.

Dem Senators get a chance to vote again and still fucking cave!

What was the point of this.

A leader would not have lost eight colleagues tonight. This happened because you let it happen or because you’ve totally lost control of the caucus in one of the most important moments since you’ve been Democratic leader. Either way, it’s on you. You need to step down. We need someone who can lead.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You don’t need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.

Mayor Frey's many-bullet point plan for encampments has been listing off the endless series of tragedies (shootings, fires, explosions) he has presided over. Then with an indignant tone, telling us that's what his opponents find acceptable.

I know some people are strongly opposed to taking busses of Nicollet in downtown Minneapolis. I’m not. But, I’m also not convinced that turning Nicollet into a pedestrian mall is some amazing idea either. 🧵

It should be needless to say, but it is perhaps at this moment worth saying, that transgender individuals have the same right as anyone else to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Wild to me that a CEO sets goals about outcomes that have nothing to do with the business (are customers more satisfied? Is the product more reliable? Etc.)

Setting the goal of what % of code should be AI-generated is as useful as setting the goal of how many lines of code devs should write per day
