“How do you know this Mr R” because I watched them do this for 20 years to human rights groups, politician, public figures and more. They present a lunatic prospectus of deranged claims then chip, chip, chip away until something falls off, then declare total crushing victory for their fucknut story.
The story here is “repeatedly sanctioned fascist football hooligans banned, papers and MPs collaborate on months-long campaign of apeshit crackpot squealing”. Watch how easily “officer cited AI” turns into “British police collaborate with radical Islamists and massive crackdowns are now required”.

Does this system work? No. But are we trying to fix it? Also no. So can we elect people who will try to do it differently? Absolutely not

Good morning.

A regular reminder: a tiny few hoard staggering wealth and own much of the media, while millions struggle to survive.

That’s not an accident. It’s a choice made by those in power.

Tax wealth. Fund public services. Build an economy for everyone - not the 1%.

This looks to me like a special “If a Libyan militiaman you’ve been allowing and maybe helping to travel back and forth to a warzone then blows up a lot of children at a concert in Manchester, a two-line excuse will prevent any further official scrutiny of your actions” exemption.

Why is nobody explaining to the public that e.g. Nick Timothy and John Woodcock are comically crooked crackpots with long histories of hysterical fabulism, who should be laughed at rather than indulged?

Note that Keir Starmer's chief backer, Luke Nukehurst's own organisation cosigned letters by Betar supporting campus crackdowns.
NEW: Far-right Zionist group Betar US will disband following an investigation by NY State Attorney General Letitia James into the group's "violence against and harassment of Muslim, Arab, Palestinian, and Jewish activists" and failure to register as a charity in NY despite soliciting donations.

If the figures we're getting out of Iran are in the right league, this weekend was, I think, one of the bloodiest state crackdowns of all time. People are talking 12,000-20,000 dead; for comparison Hungary in 1956 was about 2,500, Tiananmen - across country, in multiple cities - probably 1000+

Scott Adams spent some of his final years promoting what he called the "Charlottesville lie," where he insisted point blank that words that we all heard, words on official transcripts, were never said, and insisted that the history that I personally was part of never happened.

May he be forgotten.

I am once again reminding you all that the UK government introduced an Online Safety Act that is effectively a porn ban on most adult porn websites, but is dithering over banning a website that is actually creating child porn.

Let's go further. Every medium sized British town should have a Roger's Child Porn Warehouse, packed to the rafters with CSAM made and sold by Roger himself. Then we can arrest anyone who buys it, let Roger keep the money and the porn, and hand him a knighthood for his services to policing.
Alex Norris explaining that the govt is passing legislation that means if someone asks Grok to produce an image of a woman in a bikini they will be committing a criminal offence. Whereas when it comes to taking action against X, we're told thats a matter for Ofcom not the govt.

Nadhim Zahawi's defection to the Reform Party UK from the Conservatives is going to create *so* much awkwardness...
... Zahawi has previously been critical of Nigel Farage, declared his lifelong loyalty to the Tories, and called out Farage for his racism.

This is beyond shocking - how can this be allowed to happen? Why on earth can’t they be released on bail? They have a right to a fair trial, appropriate medical treatment, & the removal of punitive Prison Service conditions. Govt’s ban on Palestine Action is simply intolerable

Fundamentally, these numbers are just silly so it is better to understand this system as a de facto graduate tax that your parents can buy your way out of.

It's not strictly accurate but it does probably lead you to a better assessment for policy making purposes.
Student loans went from 'zero' to 'not zero but largely repayable' to 'large and largely not repayable'

There’s no inconsistency or hypocrisy there. They never believed everyone had rights or that freedoms are universal. They believe in their own freedom and in their unlimited right to smash fuck out of anyone who impedes or resists them. And this is how it’s been for decades, at least.

I am in my email for Reasons and found a Hookland Chronicles I had missed, and truly, I need a collected tales of Hookland on my shelf, for when the Tide Tyrant King presses too close.

Re-enchantment is resistance. I think my muse is speaking to me again.
Goodnight from the barn dance at High Barley, where rendition of the traditional song Rundle’s Skeleton has stirred the village spirits. Goodnight from Laura Lessing, tired of arguing with her husband that it’s much too cold for a baby’s tide baptism tomorrow. Goodnight from Hookland.

I've mentioned this multiple times (will keep doing it): X's EU HQ is in Dublin, and they operate under Irish law. Said law gives 14 years in jail for hosting CSAM material, this applies to corporate execs. Pressure point is the Irish Govt.
