That Maitlis appears to be so proud of being instrumental in stripping an entire generation of trans youth of gender-affirming medical care - which has led to several suicides already - is quite frankly obscene.

I could never get over the completely impractical spacesuit light design. I'm sorry, I appreciate that this makes me literally too much of a nerd to enjoy what was otherwise a great movie.

Interesting that it's the actual death squad expert who has gone front and centre on this.

I'm afraid that's not good enough. The BBC will only expunge the terrible stain on its character if all the London based news and current affairs staff are sacked, and the Corporation diverts all its fund to regional news centres. This is their only way out.

Which EU states are and are not 'functioning democracies' by this measure, then?

And it's this level of trust which why the BBC's decisive turns against Corbynism, against trans people, and against Palestinians have (a) been so effective and (b) destroyed the trust and political support of many millions of Britons who now want to see it dismantled.

Most Important Lesson to take away from this is that there is a global program of institutional capture by transphobic elites who seek to eradicate transgender people and are waging a strategic battle one organization at a time to ostracize us and make our existence untenable.

Lawson is Charlie Brown. The media wing of the regime is Lucy van Pelt.

I'm not sure what the football is in this analogy, I'm sorry. 'Social democracy'? 'Power'? 'Lawson as chair of PM's policy group?'

[95% of govt work is tidying up and improving below the headline level. Labour let the NGO/thinktank sector give them a bunch of policies for this. Any of these which piss off the media wing of the regime will get canned anyway.] 2/2

In the Corbyn era, the Labour right did close to zero thinking about what they would do when they got into power. There's actually a good reason: when your entire MO is 'do the headline policy that the media barons tell you to do' it doesn't make much difference having or not having plans NB 1/2

No, this just keeps it intact for another iteration of the 'great moving right show'. Time to pull the plug.

I think you'll find that the circle recruits zero-expertise pundits from a significantly wider circle than that...
