So *over* all the big tech companies pushing AI at me. I've had it. Putting a Linux OS on my old computer (that Windows 11 won't install on anyway). I'm gonna get familiar with it then proselytize open source everything to my friends and coworkers. Fuck you Microsoft. You've pushed too far.

One of our tracked bald eagles, hatched in east-central IL, became our first tagged nestling in the project to breed at just 5 years old. Sadly, she was found grounded in IN last week. A necropsy will tell us more. Choosing lead-free ammo is one way hunters can help eagles!

First we had to make the decision to euthanize our 12-y-o goat this week and now the #KCCurrent is losing its playoff game. I have *never* been into sports, let alone emotional about them. Today I just canNOT deal with something that isn't even important in the grand scheme. So stupid!

When your pet is considered livestock, it's really hard to get veterinarians to treat them like pets. Mom of 12-year-old meat goat breed who is stressing out over an acute, but possibly end-of-life issue if we can't get treatment that "pet" vets would absolutely provide for dogs and cats. #goats
