Syncing ALL your devices, loading them with Artificial Intelligence crapola (which is unsolictingly helpful* among its other faults) and having ALL OF IT on some version of A Cloud is clearly how we are all being herded by tech bro Border Collies.

True story: I sat down on the tussocky tundra North of the Brooks Range in Alaska - and flushed a Ptarmigan and her chicks! They meandered on their way once it was established that I was not moving.
