I wonder if anybody has posted a feature-length film to Bluesky yet.

Anyway, I’m going to post my first feature, *Hide and Creep*, to Bluesky, two or three minutes at a time.

Here’s the first two minutes and 22 seconds.
99 bucks! Heck yeah.
I do not need to buy another camera but I am genuinely interested in this new Kodak-branded point and shoot

something very important for Dems to realize is that the tech overlords are not people you can win back by promising a lighter touch and saying a few nice things

they’ve gotten a taste of mask-off fascism and they are not going back, they don’t want to play nice with the peons anymore
There’s a funny Politico story showing that the latest polling on AI shows 80-20 in favor of heavy regulations, an absolute slam dunk platform, but Dems are worried about not winning back mask-off tech CEO donors

The most important post on Bluesky today
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Post a criminally underrated song from the 90s. Challenge points for songs that never charted in the U.S. but should have.

Just realized I had a very physical media Christmas. Got two LPs, a VHS tape, a Blu-ray, and a hardback book.

I think a case can be made that 9/11 gut-shot the long 20th century, and it took 15 years or so for the effects of that to fully make themselves known
My beloved AP European History teacher always said that modern centuries only truly "begin" 14 to 18 years after the technical turn of the calendar:

1517 (Luther's Theses)
1618 (Defenestration of Prague)
1714 (Peace of Utrecht)
1815 (Napoleon defeated)
1914 (WWI begins)

and

2016 (Trump wins)

This is the perfect feature for the Twitter crowd. Now they can take all the news photos of Trump and change them so he doesn’t look old, feeble, and half-dead.
Heads up to artists still using Twitter- Twitter is now adding an "Edit image" button under all images posted on the site that allows everyone to feed it into genAI and modify it as they wish with a prompt

This is wild.

Also, I was shocked how much free parking there is in L.A.
the fact that there is free parking at all in manhattan is wild to me
“Pairing free buses with paid parking says we value people in motion more than cars at rest,” writes Nicolas Rohatyn.
