Some of the sketches. Typically with clients I do a "pasta at the wall" round, especially when we aren't quite 100% on direction, then once we have a firmer direction I provide color alternates and more refinement of silhouettes/expression.

Planning to do my sketches for a surreal project the day after a surgery when I knew I'd be zooted into outerspace on painkillers has been some of the most savvy calendaring I've ever done.

I got my surgery and slept for 12 hours and y’all, I am so grateful to have that tooth removed it has been a thorn in my side for FIFTEEN YEARS, just a cascade of problems and failed root canals and broken and then failed crown and then a finally now jaw abscess. Goodbye you little devil.
