If you're new here, I will never accept that settler colonial nations have any right to exist. Decolonization means Indigenous land and life-ways back, no cops, no landlords, and probably other stuff that might twist up your ginch so beware.
Being an adult is an endless litany of portals and passwords and bills and terms of service and arcane legal documents and it never ever EVER fucking ends. How do I prepare my kids for that, realistically?

It absolutely kills me that cops and cop-adjacent people are right now using the example of ICE as a way to claim they aren't part of the same violent apparatus.

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

I remember when this happened. I was horrified. And of course nothing happened to the cops.
I'm from Buffalo, so I'll use our example of BPD cracking the skull of Martin Gugino. Officers stopped others from making sure an elderly man was okay because he dared to stand up for what was right.

I started the day thinking groups of people jumping and laying the boots to ICE agents (on or off duty whatever is safest) may be the ethical thing to do and it is barely noon and I am thinking that may be too moderate a position.
