These pathetic wastes of good air are reveling in the unaccountable power given to them, because they deem anyone within the crosshairs of their mandate as beneath them and worthy of cruelty.

Which is the point of the whole project.
After a 16-year-old complained his zip-ties were too tight at a an ICE/FBI raid in southwest Idaho, an officer laughed and tightened them, the ACLU alleges in a new lawsuit.

He still has scars, months later.

Bondi running out the clock with absolute nonsense, aided by sexual predator protector and insurrectionist Jim Jordan, instead of answering a single question.

The whole hearing was childish, petulant deflection and Bondi should be held in contempt.
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

The whole Congressional hearing was one of the most disgusting displays of sycophancy, faux outrage, petulant indignancy and deflection made worse by sexual predator protector Jim Jordan's attempts to run interference and allow Bondi to run out the clock.

The whole hearing made my blood boil

As much as I would prefer peaceful protests, I don't know how much longer this will be a viable tactic if the MSM never reports on them.

Civil rights protests worked because we could see the horrors on the evening news, but with a fractured private media landscape, I worry that's no longer possible
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Text messages from Exum also surfaced in court including one in which he bragged about his marksmanship in a group chat with other agents. "I fired 5 rounds and she had 7 holes. Put that in your book, boys," he wrote.

Admission to a capricious abuse of power based on petty grievance—a power usurped from Congress.
Trump: "So I put on a 30% tariff, which is very low. I got an emergency call from I believe the prime minister of Switzerland. She was very aggressive ... I didn't really like the way she talked to us, so instead of giving her a reduction, I raised it to 39%."

RULE VOTE FAILS, 217-214.

Three Republicans- Thomas Massie, Kevin Kiley, and Don Bacon - buck the party to allow floor consideration of measures to end Trump's tariffs.

The first such measure, likely on Canada tariffs, could come up as soon as tomorrow
Republicans have been holding this vote open for 40 minutes or so, but the holdouts- Massie, Kiley, Bacon, reportedly left the Capitol. The absent Republican is Greg Murphy (R-NC), who has missed a lot of time since a mid December surgery.

Not clear why Johnson is still holding this vote open

OK, first, the criminal record of a drug cartel is a bit better established than a random Minneapolis resident.

Second, not only has this DVD scenario never occurred with ICE — and I’m a broken record here! — there’s no record of any agent being doxed and attacked.
