Blue states are being denied federal funding for essential services simply because we voted Democrat. Our representatives should refuse to fund the government until this is corrected. Why should we continue to contribute taxes to a federal government occupying and terrorizing us in Minnesota?!

The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control. There’s no one solution to this, because the problem isn’t just technological. It’s cultural. It’s misogyny. This is just one expression of it.

I cannot believe this is real.
Trump: We track Santa. We want to make sure that Santa is being good. We want to make sure that he's not infiltrated, that we're not infiltrating into our country a bad Santa. Santa loves Oklahoma like I do. You know, Oklahoma was very good to me in the election

I’m glad Amy Madigan is getting awards buzz for #Weapons, it’s a fun performance and we certainly don’t have to choose!…but Sally Hawkins was in #BringHerBack this year too. Just saying!

Read the whole thread. It's funny for the first sentence and then immediately switches to horrifying.
1. “F*ck you Ben Shapiro and the midget horse you rode in on.”

Candace Owens, responding to Ben Shapiro’s speech at Turning Point USA, mainlines unquestionable Neo-Nazi propaganda, including dangerous Talmudic conspiracies.

Every time I read something like this, I think about how when I was living as "a white millennial man," people would notice I was talented and just sort of hand me stuff without me advocating for myself. My current career -- where I am still successful! -- has been much, much harder to attain.
Guys, victimhood culture is alpha now

When I was depressed I thought everyone's life is defined by the worst thing that happens to them; the joy people are taking in Rob Reiner's work proves how wrong I was. Just as importantly, life on Earth is not defined by the worst things people do & say—please don't let this convince you otherwise

my favorite thing about the benoit blanc movies is that they aren't really about benoit blanc. he is not grappling with demons from his past. we are not getting flashbacks to the husband whose murder he never solved. he just shows up and does his job like mary poppins for homicides

Could not agree with Justin more: saw WICKED: FOR GOOD on Sunday and there were really loud, disruptive teens (I’m sorry, teens!) causing a ruckus for the entire runtime plus terrible sound quality at the theater. Didn’t love the movie either so I wished I had just watched at home. 🤷‍♀️
All of this money spent on this study and not a single mention of things that might keep people away: disruptive audience behavior, increasingly poor technical presentation, every shrinking theatrical windows (or day and date indies). I love theaters, and go multiple times a week, but it’s grim.
How Can Movie Theaters Fill More Seats Again? A Bain Report Shares Suggestions
"Audiences haven’t abandoned theaters; they need a more compelling reason to go," the consultancy highlights, sharing suggestions for how to bring fans back to the cinema in the post-COVID era.
