Genuinely the only thing keeping me going—but it really is keeping me going—is how good it is to see people link arms and push for this to end.

I cannot stop thinking about how much love people can have for their neighbors, and how much work and money is poured into breaking that love apart.

Drop the names of any Canadian companies you’ve seen working with ICE in the comments.

I’m aware of Gardaworld, Roshel, Hootsuite.

Would love to gather any and all other names.

Reminder to always have a box of N95s on hand. Human to human bird flu is reportedly on the way, and we won’t be warned. Experts believe H2H bird flu could have an initial mortality rate of almost 50%.

Happy weekend! And get some N95s if you haven’t already.

A few simple steps would make everyone healthier:

Clean air in public spaces.

Paid time off.

Free respirators for anyone who needs them.

Mandatory masking in healthcare.

Our rush back to “normal” has ensured a never ending cycle of sickness, death & disability.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

I canvassed, phone banked, called reps, volunteered at the polls, wrote letters, advocated locally, mentored.

Now, all I can do is… couch. From one stinking covid infxn.
