We wish. In fact, although programs like Medicaid and Medicare exist, there are strict eligibility requirements, including limits on income and assets.

And chronically ill people are still at risk.
As of late October, the U.S. was still seeing nearly 30,000 cases a week.

FACT Both are respiratory viruses, COVID-19 spreads faster, causes more severe illness, & carries a far higher risk of long-term complications—especially for people with disabilities or chronic conditions. Flu rarely leads to long-term disability; COVID-19 often does.
