I've been staying in cheap motel rooms in the South Island of New Zealand all week, all of which are bigger, more comfortable and with better hospitality than nearly any chain hotel of equivalent price I've stayed at in the UK. And the scenery is off the charts.

Didn't think I managed to get much sleep on this flight, til I checked my podcast listening history and it turns out I managed to sleep completely through about 4.5 hours of podcasts.

I love Singapore. For breakfast I had kaya toast and a cup of Michelin star coffee (kopi) from the most unassuming little stall in a food hall in Chinatown. It all cost less than £2.00 and it was amazing.
