Sad thing about my high school friends is that COVID put an end to our annual meet ups, but even before then I realised I would not be friends with most of them if we met today. You may be onto something.

The same is happening to me, but the film studies equivalent is when a student tries to support a point via analysis of shots/scenes that don't exist!

There are accounts of children's film attendance in that era of kids fighting, dropping stink bombs, itching powder and lighted matches from the balcony, urinating on the floor. But bringing live chickens is a new one!

I yearn for the time I treated myself to a first class advance from Birmingham to Glasgow because it was only around £20 more than the standard advance. Sadly I've never been that lucky again.

I would argue that one of the messages is 'hey aren't culturally-specific musical traditions neat?', in which case you're doing fine.
