I am increasingly convinced that Trump was allowed to get as far as he has because he is useful (zero moral compass, a pathological need to suck up to oligarchs, and an uncanny ability to command the gullible), AND enough kompromat to be destroyed when the utility runs out.

A win! A federal judge has just blocked part of the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that aimed to restrict Medicaid funding. Judge Indira Talwani, ruling from the District of Massachusetts, ordered the Trump administration to continue Medicaid payments to Planned Parenthood health centers.
