We didn't have ICE or DHS 25 years ago and we lived just fine, until a lazy, incompetent president ignored the warnings from his own intelligence services. A lot of us said back then we would regret the establishment of these departments and the enabling laws and budgets, and here we are.

Of all the horrifying incidents and videos from the last year, this one stands out. How any woman in the country could condone this how any husband, father, brother, boyfriend could stand down if this happened to someone he loves...
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

Would rather live next to someone who crossed a desert to become an American, than someone who would watch an execution of another American and say she deserved it. Why is it they don’t need any evidence to believe a lie, but all the evidence in the world isn’t enough for them to believe the truth.
