ICE policy requires the use of bodyworn cameras. Video should be available from every agent who was involved in the death of a citizen in Minneapolis. I don’t know. Yesterday a woman in the Bloomsbury Waitrose described the one in Granary Square as “the good Waitrose” and for a moment I thought “huh, maybe David Betz is right. Maybe we will start to see civil war on the Strand”.
The idea that London has become less safe in recent years is quite strange - just look at how once "dangerous" areas have been transformed in recent years. Gentrification comes with its own issues but streets are packed with visitors and city far more welcoming than when I moved here a decade ago.
