I suspect this is some of the intended effect of the construction of both Midway Blitz and this current occupation.
Kind of shocking how much respect I’ve lost for Tim Walz in all of this.

I actually disagree with this take. I don't think they're all feckless waffles. There's actually quite a few of them that I really like. I just think Schumer and Jeffries have not met the moment, and that the old way of approaching compromise is over because it fertilized the country for fascism.

There's plenty to criticize Democrats for, and I do it here all the time. But criticizing them for telling people they have to vote is so counterproductive it borders on malevolent. If in 2026, you don't get how important it is, you are as much a part of the problem as anyone you're angry at.

At the moment you have your most leverage to date you've already compromised by offering them one cent more. Starve the agency, close the camps, and hand the reins to someone ready to lead the next majority, because no one believes you're going to do what is necessary when the GOP loses power.

I was wrong two complaints: one which I will not risk spoiling the experience of this movie to tell you, the second being that it made me want to watch the Director's Cut of Branagh's Hamlet and c'mon now who's got time for that and raising two kids with a full time job in entertainment production.

Hamnet (movie) was excellent. Chloe Zhao is uncanny at making the audience, or at least me, empathize with her subjects. The Shakespeare line readings were flawless. I have one complaint, which when you see this movie you may guess, a scene could've been cut with nothing lost. Buckley is incredible.
