Fellas, what's stopping you from going on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days setting out to find the shark that ate your friend and destroy it?
Red alert, boys. WSJ says it’s time to start dressing like Steve Zissou.

Today is Small Business Saturday! So remember, if you're pulling a heist today, make sure it's from a big business/federally insured bank and not a mom and pop shop/credit union. They got all that fat black friday money in their safes. If it's too late now, maybe next year!

I love all of the references to famous Benoit Blanc cases that we have never seen and never will.

More Benoit Blanc mysteries that we do see, please and thank you Mister @rianjohnson.bsky.social

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.

I don't really believe in one specific deity or what have you but i do appreciate whatever chaos god decided to dump a bunch of snow on the Midwest on the heaviest travel weekend of the year, like it is both annoying and hilarious in equal measure (knives out 3 ain't playing in town)

There's a spread in G.I. Joe this week that is very much a "oh fuck yes, that is some good comic book shit"

Also, "two dudes who hate each other begrudgingly forced into a team-up to survive" is a fun plot to me so Duke and Cobra Commander in those roles is enjoyable.

Dreadnok War, good stuff.

Me: so what’s up are you still in a blood feud with that boy

Hook: he’s not — we’ve been over this, he doesn’t age. I think he’s older than me

Me: I’m just fucking with you how’s Smee

I've been rereading the Parker books and fuck, those are some delightfully grim reads.

Parker is one of the greatest characters in series fiction that I can think of and he's a bastard. Just a real son of a bitch.

Aside -Marky Mark and Statham have both played Parker and neither one got it right

"If you hate GenAI you're going to have to stop playing new games when they all start using it"

My brother in Christ, my backlog is literally thousands of games long. I have lifetimes worth of earlier titles to play, & I will gladly do that instead of boiling the oceans for a new CoD or whatever

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back

My thoughts on the new Running Man are complex. Also there's the fact that I've only read the book and not seen the Arnold flick, I feel like I'm missing part of the equation.

Some great action sequences, maybe my least favorite Edgar Wright flick as a whole? That's a list I gotta make.

Iron Man - not a Top 5 Marvel character for me, probably not even a Top 10, yet also somehow absolutely one of my favorite Marvel characters to buy toys of. There are a surprising amount of them in the office/around here. Cannot entirely explain why.

(Spidey-#1 on both of those lists)

I don't know, after this weekend and the no-getting-around-it way the President is starving people, all this will-they-won't-they cave stuff feels like an attempt to go into tomorrow saying "We tried, but the Republicans said no" making the whole week REPUBLICANS STARVE POOR TO PROTECT EPSTEIN FILES
