We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.

hey so this is actively happening currently here. one of the Indigenous patients i work with was stopped by ICE on lake street this morning & was asked if he's mexican. i've also been made aware of folks who know a red laker as well as a few ogalala who've been scooped up by ICE recently as well.
adding onto this concern: we know that ICE has used the pretext of "looks like" when they've detained community members. it's an unfortunately fairly common occurrence for our Indigenous neighbors to be assumed as Latine & there's already been precedent set

This is a great result for the people of Arizona. The decision confirms that the Superintendent has no authority to sue school districts that are doing their jobs by implementing a structured English immersion model approved by the State Board of Education.
