A few days ago some people were VERY WEIRDLY complaining about Sinners being "snubbed" etc... I'm not seeing them celebrating. 16 nominations is phenomenal! A record, in fact. I was confused about these posts *before* Oscar noms were even announced, and now I'm confused the same people are silent.

I hate to say it but I think most Trump supporters are completely fine with this, if not outright happy about it. I bet within 48 hours their media and our government will show them it’s ok to mock this boy and harass his loved ones too.

Annual reminder about Oscar noms: Academy members only nominate in their own *branch* + all members nominate Best Picture. (Only actors nom the acting categories, writers nom the screenplays, etc.) All members can also volunteer to nom the International features, Animated features & the short films.
