At first I was put off by the Minnesota shooting, is this another case of liberal white people seeing themselves in Renee and finding outrage?
But so many people have been killed already, this feels more like the final straw. The uniting blow. A seething rage finally boiling over.

As someone currently living in a malnourished state due to Long Covid complications, the amount of “was” in the qts and the replies by people who I’m rather certain are *still* exposing high risk people to Covid is going to make me tear out what is left of my hair (yep, that’s also from Long Covid)
there’s a thread on reddit right now called “was COVID really that bad?” and it is interesting to read people’s accounts five years out
there seems to be a collective trauma response where people (outside of healthcare workers) don’t remember how many people died

Just a reminder that you shouldn't be traveling to states that aren't enforcing vaccines. There's about to be a national health crisis (if it's not already happening) because the measles outbreak in Texas and... Oh it's up to four states now: Texas, Utah, Arizona and South Carolina.

Are you a Twilight Zone girlie or a Hitchcock Presents Girlie?
It's okay if you're both, or neither, Amazing Stories and Outer Limits are good too. I just always thought I loved twilight zone, but watching it, I realized I was thinking about Hitchcock Presents. To be honest, my favorite is TFTC.

I really appreciate "The Sandlot" for the portrayal of friendship. Those boys adopted the new kid like it was just something they did, "No way he doesn't play baseball look at him" but their cries for exclusion were still a type of inclusion, they didn't chase him off the field, they let him stay

I don't want to know, or think about this, because that means there's pieces of dead people in me, and when I grieve them, and it feels like I'm dying, it could be those pieces literally dying, or worse them missing their original selves??? I don't need to think about that man...
