This was never about immigration laws; it's always been about ethnic cleansing. Miller and his Brownshirts won't be stopped by the courts; they've repeatedly told us that. The only language they know is force. If they can ignore courts with impunity, we already live in a lawless society.

The US is & has always been imperfect. The only true Americans are those who were already here & those who followed prospered from stolen land & stolen people. In modern times, our country prospered b/c of immigrants not in spite of. Hate is not heritage, it’s simply hate.
For those not following at home, “Heritage American” is a category of white supremacy covering people whose ancestors were white folks who were pioneers.

I’ve been listening to classical music since I was about 13. Sometimes I’ll forget & pick back up again. All music speaks to me but classical music calms me, it makes me feel less sad.

I’ve been listening to classical music since I was about 13. Sometimes I’ll forget & pick back up again. All music speaks to me but classical music calms me, it makes me feel less sad.
I’m both immunocompromised & a terrible sick person. I got the flu shot. Strains didn’t match so I still got sick but it could have been SO MUCH worse. Day 3 & I feel almost completely back to normal. I’m grateful it wasn’t worse. Being sick sucks but the vaccine might have just saved my life.

Found out my sister in law (who I saw on Saturday) is also sick & several friends have family members who currently also have the flu. Apparently there’s a super strain going around North Texas that’s aggressive & vaccine resistant. Stay safe, y’all!

Day 3 of Super Flu. I finally have enough energy to leave my bed & am standing outside, taking in the fall weather. Everything feels surreal. I’m really thankful I didn’t end up in the ER. It was touch & go there for a bit.

A friend is working on her doctorate in a EU country & something I find shocking is her advisor has been recommending she utilize more AI to offset speed. Her peers who use it regularly have been submitting bad work. It doesn’t make sense. She’s in STEM & abides by ethical standards in science.
When I was writing my book, my editor suggested I use ChatGPT to fact check each chapter & convert my links to MLA format. I tried it & it literally made up fake links & fake authors.
This scared me so bad and it’s why I hired a criminology graduate student to fact check for me
