Kansas to Belgium with stops along the way. More likely to reply/like than skeet, since most of you say it better/funnier than I can. True blue, both politics and baseball. I confess to being earnest - I think it's important.

We’re proud to share that #HeroRATs are featured in Ep6 of "My Best Friend’s an Animal". Produced by Big Wave TV for Love Nature, the series highlights the unique bond between dedicated trainers and African giant pouched rats, and how that partnership helps save lives. #APOPO

“Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work.It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”

Sometimes life feels relentless and our minds race. Not everything needs solving today.🧡

Brilliant analysis of an iconic scene from CASABLANCA with too much contemporary relevance. “The Germans are but one small enclave, finding themselves within a community that’s filled with less traditional power but greater numbers and far superior zeal.”

She scandalised the art world in the 1990s with her unmade bed, partied hard in the 2000s – then a brush with death turned the artist’s life upside down. Now she’s as frank as ever

It's not Caturday yet, but here's an article about cats going to college (kind of). www.npr.org/2026/02/10/g...
In Beirut, Lebanon's cats of war find peace on university campus
The American University of Beirut has long been a haven for cats abandoned in times if war or crisis, but in recent years the feline population has grown dramatically.

I told the neighbor
Things looked suspicious outside
She shared the news
I kept watch
Ever vigilant
Another neighbor weighed in
We worked together
To protect

Mom told me to settle down
But those squirrels
Could be dangerous
You don't know for sure
What is this neighborhood coming to
If we don't?

I keep saying this but no one is connecting the dots. The war is to satisfy legal preconditions for mass removal *domestically* of Latinos (i.e., suddenly a lot of people are going to be “Venezuelan” for purposes of removal). This is 100% Stephen Miller…oil claim is to make grandpa go along
There is no national security logic that would impel the US to want to do regime change in Venezuela. It's simply not that important. I'm not even sure wag the dog is the right metaphor for what's happening here. Seems like an insane misallocation of US national security assets and attention.
Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."
