Near our hotel in Buenos Aires was a Russian Orthodox church, and a few steps away was this mural. Unfortunately no picture of the church as it was night. Bravo to the painter.

The closest I'll get to a Thanksgiving meal this year. Not that I'm complaining! Happy Thanksgiving to all my friend who celebrate, from a Buenos Aires market. (Confession: I don't eat meat except for turkey on Thanksgiving day, so I'll just stick to the veggies!)

It did! It was rainy so they couldn't go outside, but they didn't seem to mind. Hot dogs and birthday cake have a way of making everything all right. Are you staying warm under your layers of duvets??

I visited the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp a few weeks ago, and saw this delightful painting by an artist I didn't know. And now here you are posting another one by her. Serendipitous! I think everyone I saw walk by this painting took a picture. Pardon the poor framing on my part!
