We don’t need AI to “be creative” for us; we need a world in which there is time and space to wonder, joke and play with words. To fuck around with color and texture, to experiment with an intriguing sound, without the need to immediately convert process and artifact into engagement to stay solvent.

I got off Twitter as fast as I could, and I deleted every single post I made that contained artwork. it was a boring and annoying afternoon of work, but I just knew this shit was coming. just let go. let the bird die in peace.
For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art
