The administration's official policy is "fuck them kids," literally and figuratively
1/ HHS just announced the most significant rollback of childhood vaccine recommendations in modern American history.
Seven vaccines are being moved to “shared clinical decision-making,” a category that sounds reasonable but functionally ensures millions of children won’t receive them.🧵

No one has ever been less prepared or competent to handle the current political moment than every single Democrat with any sort of power
Schumer says "It makes you think that maybe to Trump, he wants to distract the American people, as he always does, as he always does, from the skyrocketing cost...from the Epstein files."

In reality this goes back to the 2000 election. Pretending that was legitimate in any way was the death knell for whatever "democracy" we had, this is just the long tail of that
Democrats' stance since J6 should have been total non-cooperation with Republicans until they go back to following the Constitution. Has only gotten worse since then.

Legal formalism and demands for bipartisanship are completely at odds with correctly noting Trump's threat to democracy.

Gonna be wild when Dems nominate a candidate who promises to "move on" from these atrocities and do nothing at all to hold anyone to account. We can call it The Obama Doctrine.
Literally seeking to build a regime-supporting paramilitary force of tens of thousands of people - explicitly recruiting people based on their politics

Trump says the people who “thought Epstein was the greatest guy on earth, only to drop him like a dog when things got too HOT” are “sleazebags.”

Trump is criticizing people who…stopped hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein?

Galaxy Quest - a perfect movie, just a wonderful love letter to actors, sci-fi, Star Trek in particular, and to fandom - really deserves a proper physical release with decent extras. Think Weaver's right that releasing a R-rated cut would be fun, too.
