The Prime Directive should have an exception for rescuing pre-warp civilizations from natural disasters. All arguments to the contrary (e.g. "we don't have the right to play God") have been nothing more than cowardly abdication of moral responsibility.
The Borg are an on-the-nose allegory/metaphor for the literal *forced assimilation* of indigenous peoples in real history. Too many Trek fans have idolized the Borg as a transhumanist power fantasy while ignoring everything that makes them problematic.
Enterprise isn't that incredible of a show and boring imo. The cunty Vulcans were the redeeming factor.
