A dear friend is a SBux union leader; Corporate uses cruel tricks against employees who try to unionize. She shared with me how they intimidate employees. a store manager told a single mother working 2 jobs if she unionizes he'd cut everyone's hours & make sure the other employees hate her.

There is a wonderfully written short story for kids on this subject called "Where the Borg Are" by Thomas King.
I was only able to find it as a digital copy through my library, but I highly recommend tracking it down for your young ones, or yourself if you're unfamiliar with colonization in Canada.

It's finally time to stop procrastinating the aft section of USS Hiawatha. I have an idea what to do with the purple, green, and blue decks. But the red decks and warp core are hitting writers block, and it has to be done first to decide exactly where other things go. Any advice would be helpful.

According to Deverell, the structure was created (in part) to reduce how much of "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" would need to be filmed outdoors on location: "The network wanted them to get off the ship and go to a planet, so the writers called us here in production to think about ways that were feasible. In 10 minutes I came up with the idea of a membrane structure like a yurt, which was something I thought we could build [quickly]. Then we picked a place in a forest because it was supposed to be very idyllic.
