Yeah, people are fixating on a Cabinet Secretary being given a sovereign country to run because the president waged war without congressional approval and kidnapped the old leader. Weird that they’d get hung up on that.
WELKER: Mr. Secretary, are you running Venezuela right now?

MARCO RUBIO: Yeah. People are fixating on that. Here's the bottom line -- we expect to see changes in Venezuela

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

One time I was trying to use my Omni, and it kept not working, and when I turned around figuring I needed to put more money on it, an MTA employee just let me through the turnstile and told me the system was broken that day but just for some cards?? 😮‍💨
Nice how they did a big “everyone loves the MetroCard, 32 years of cherished NYC icon the MetroCard” push while retiring the MetroCard in favor of a worse system that doesn’t work

“Campaign with Liz Cheney” certainly didn’t come from the progressive wing
The funniest (read: sad) part of the Bulwark is they had way more sway over the Harris campaign than the progressive wing of the party. They exist to turn the Dems into what they wanted the GOP to be: a less gauche version of the Bush/Trump GOP.

You can’t report illegal acts because you don’t want to compromise them being carried out is an interesting take, if true

this is so important for 'liberals' to grasp.

take keir starmer. would he have done this? no. but he's absolutely fucking ecstatic about it.
"How's not voting for Kamala working out for you?😏"

I don't think a Harris White House would have invaded Venezuela and kidnapped the leader to install one they chose to get oil. I do know that numerous Democrats are fine that it happened, they just don't like that they weren't informed first.
