So, hey, I'm Sean! I draw things, I write things like the fanfic EVA-Trek, and I also love all the Trekkie things and all the classic movie things!

Welcome aboard!
Gotten up through FORT APACHE in my Henry Fonda marathon… and suddenly I wanna rewatch Evangelion again.

BOOYAH - just finished the last of the release annotations and scripts for The Ready Room featurettes for EVA-Trek’s third season!

What’s left to do?

1) Production sketches for episodes 3-11
2) Final revision passes on each episode a week before release

Getting so damn close to the finish line.

I'm as certain that this is AI as I am certain that they didn't hire a professional letterer.

What's a shame is that something like this would have been the perfect opportunity to commission some fan artists! Can you imagine how much good publicity that would have gotten them?

Anytime I get to write scenes for these guys in EVA-Trek, it’s always a good time.

Hyuga & Aoba have become my Bashir & O’Brien, with a touch of Paris & Kim. Maya is always a delight in her interactions with Ritsuko & others.

I’m so glad I have 31 more episodes to write for them.

Oh, it’s so lovely to hear John Logan saying good things about Starfleet Academy in the new episode of Dropping Names with Brent and Johnny.

Nemesis may have stunk on ice, but I don’t lay all the blame at Logan’s feet. There were a lot of sins behind the camera there.

Boooooo, my dvd of THE GRAPES OF WRATH died on me!

But, that just meant I finally upgraded it to Blu-ray, so all ain’t lost.

Tomorrow, all my married and dating friends will be spending time with their significant others for Valentine’s Day.

Me? I’ll be spending the day drawing & watching old movies alone. Again.

But, Y’know what?

Star Trek has changed over the years. The Star Trek that was made in the 60s and the Star Trek being made in the 2020s are very different beast, presented and constructed differently.

I believe that the core message is the same, even if it looks different. I like that it grows

The thing many people fail to grasp—the thing you are sort of prevented from ever having a reason to grasp until you put the effort in to learn or life demands it of you—is that a world in which you see a lot of disabled people is simply a world in which more people survive disability.
I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."

That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.

yep, they're still at it in LA and Portland too

the media is gonna be like "time for a new narrative" and it's so important to keep talking about how none of the cities they invaded have become more safe since the spotlight shifted away from them
ICE “left” Chicago in November, but they’ve disappeared three people from my community in two days this week.

Don’t believe the hype about them, leaving Minnesota, either.

If Moderna is no longer bringing vaccine trials for Epstein-Barr virus (good evidence that EB causes Multiple Sclerosis), herpes, and shingles because of Trump appointees, I want prison time for those appointees.

This might be dooming millions to disease they don’t have to experience.

Many of the studios that support animated shows are dying and fading away. Hopefully animation is able to transition to new platforms, but until then, this is a scary time for many of the people who make the things you love.

This is hell.

FYI Covid infections can re-activate the Epstein barr virus in the body (most of us have been exposed). The virus is mostly associated with Mononucleosis (the kissing disease) it's also linked to chronic fatigue syndrome. They want us sick and unable to function

Hot fucking DAMN, episode 6 knocked it outta the park again.

This was an excellent showcase for Hunter and Giamatti.

If you aren’t onboard with #StarfleetAcademy, man I just dunno what to tell you. This is some of the tightest writing the #StarTrek franchise has done in a while.
