But also, if your argument is that you need to use generative AI because otherwise your art is “bad”, let me reassure you:

The art you get from these models is also bad. Much, much worse, in fact. It carries the superficial signifiers of quality, but it is trash.
Regarding the Discourse, lemme just say that if you can't draw, yes you can.

Everyone can draw, and folks will almost certainly respond more positively to your stick figures than some generic "A.i." slop.

Also, there are LOADS of resources for free images. Like this! 🧵

Fire up the phones. Make every fucking member of the GOP own this.

Fuck them.

My cancelable take on Sorcerer Twitter is that necromancy is ecologically and ethically sound, but enchantment spells are almost strictly evil.
My cancelable take on Sorcerer Twitter is that folks need to consider the local ecosystem before they curse people into animal forms.

I get it - toad is a classic! But as Australia shows, YOU CAN'T JUST LET THEM LOOSE EVERYWHERE.

Most places need more beavers! ALMOST NO PLACES NEED MORE WILD HOGS.
my cancelable take on Sorcerer Twitter is I think magic squares are nerd shit

This is a key point, I think. If you don't pay attention to the work that goes into organizing everyday life, because you think it's beneath you, then the outcomes of that work look like magic. Or, here, like some sort of paid conspiracy.
part of this is like, conservatives projecting; part of this is conservatives unable to imagine politics without money; and part of this is dudes who are so out of touch with feminized labor that they think children's birthday parties exist as a spontaneous act of parthogenesis
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse serving veterans. He died trying to protect protestors being assaulted. A group of anonymous & masked men fired chemicals into his face, beat him, disarmed him, and shot him in broad daylight in front of witnesses. Then his government smeared him & defended his murder.

Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step.

1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish.

2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.

I guess I do think if you participated in the arrest of a five-year-old you are probably just fundamentally incompatible with society. That you are not a safe person for humanity to be around, generally

"If you want to know who took all of your money, it's the people with all of the money."

I keep thinking about this post and how it's one of the best, most succinct messages Democrats could use in 2026 campaigns.
If you want to know who took all of your money, it's the people with all of the money. Famously, we know that's people working in child care.

Having the Coast Guard, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, decide that a swastika isn’t really a symbol of hate? That makes me, an American Jew, feel pretty damn unsafe.
