This is true. We may not be able to stop everything but we can sure as hell slow it down
obviously not in the sense that it’s stopping everything, but they are being stalled so much by trying to find places where they aren’t watched, wasting so much manpower and resources on crowd control and even arresting observers they know will just get released. i am so proud of everyone

Remembering today that having your heart broken is a necessary step on the path to becoming fully human. Whichever heartbreak is your first, it’s probably critical that a state break your heart so that you can develop a political imagination. If this is your first, I’m sorry and also welcome.

there is no positive route forward for the United States without mass arrests and trials for DHS employees
You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Every ICE officer should be tried for crimes against humanity.

A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

The woman killed by ICE was Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old who was the mother of a 4-year old child whose father already died a few years ago.

In Iowa, here is the ICE reporting hotline by @iowammj
Please support them however you can, they almost certainly need more volunteers in your area!

I have been stalled for a long time about posting creative work because there is absolutely always a new atrocity which should take precedence in everyone's mind before whatever thing I'm doing. Extremely true today, which i didn't realize until after I posted.

It takes an enormous amount of courage to stand there, keep filming, and scream "What the fuck, you asshole" at someone wearing a badge who just shot and killed one of your neighbors in cold blood.
I need people to wrap their minds around the fact that here in Minneapolis, ICE broke the window of a vehicle yesterday, pepper sprayed the occupants, and arrested them, and shot another observer in the face today, and OBSERVERS ARE STILL GOING OUT TO PROTECT THEIR NEIGHBORS AT MASSIVE PERSONAL RISK
I’m eating lunch, I’m having a panic attack, I’m charging my phone, and then I’m going back out to try and keep my neighborhood safe.

Abolish and prosecute ICE. They did a murder in broad daylight today. Imagine what they're doing in the closed facilities we're somehow not even allowed to see.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

My mother was a refugee of the Salvadoran civil war. The Americans backed the fascists that took over the country. Now Salvador is run by a pro yankee crypto dictator who has built the largest concentration camp in the western hemisphere. That, is American intervention.

And from Gillian, who saw my phone was out and got very flustered remembering that I can see her, and fled to the bed to pout.

This set of three gnomes comes in a nest in a small metal basket, in ready-to-hatch eggs.

One story of gnomes is that they became connected to a house when they were brought in with building materials or firewood. These three are looking for homes!
