The video showed Joliet Police driving Lurry to their station instead of a hospital after they believed he put drugs in his mouth to hide them, manually holding his airways shut for 90 seconds, slapping him, and inserting a baton into his mouth while he was handcuffed and unresponsive.

Every trans adult was once a trans kid.

Hormone blockers are a compromise and merely a pause button. Let kids experience the same puberty as their peers.

The truly only irreversible thing is puberty.

The only motivation and point for stopping trans kids from accessing medical care is *cruelty*.
The pervasive patriarchal attitude that queer children must be surveilled, abused, and denied all autonomy in order to "correct" them into conforming with their assigned reproductive role is exactly what the GC movement, in manifestos like Shrier's "Irreversible Damage", is peddling.
An autobiographical essay about anti-trans child conversion therapy and the place of queer children under patriarchy.

This are just racists trying to distance themselves from the final boss of their beliefs.

Just like how every couple of months a right wing pundit or politician will ahistorically remind you that the nazis were socialists actually because of the name
One more example of "the Woke Right" narrative, where the right tries to frame members who have gone too far as actually sort of leftist. In Fuentes case, it is the overt nature of the anti-semitism. Dreher has no problem working for a govt whose leader (Orban) engages in dog-whistle anti-semitism.

These universities are making it clear how they see students, future meat widgets to serve the needs of employers. Maybe some students want this, but I question how forward looking this truly is.

this was bad before, but these are the most troubling and serious allegations you can make about a journalist. if they’re true, i genuinely can’t think of a worse scandal in the history of political journalism. devastating to our industry, to public trust as a whole, and to everyone in its orbit
