Ukraine denied any role in the attack on GRU deputy chief Alekseyev. Ukrainian FM Sybiha suggested it may be an internal Russian affair. Russia's FSB claims the suspected shooter was detained in the UAE and acted on Kyiv's orders.
Russia's FSB claims the suspect in the attack on GRU General Alekseyev was extradited from the UAE – 66-year-old Lyubomir Korba. Two accomplices were named. No footage of the attack or wounded general has surfaced.

The $12 trillion "deal" Russia pitched to Witkoff is just a carrot which only serves to prevent the US from helping Ukraine. It will never materialize for many reasons but most due to the fact that Russia is a small economy, where this amount would exceed its GDP by 5 to 6 times.

Note also that Republicans are increasingly seeing Canada and the EU as outright enemies. Incessant propaganda will have that effect.
