Deliberately attacking civilian infrastructure is an obvious war crime. We should never get used to this type of warfare. Whenever someone outside of Ukraine says he's "tired" of this war, he should try to imagine how tired ordinary Ukrainians are. They've been tremendously suffering for years now.

Targeting civilians usually doesn’t work*. But I’m not even sure how Russia defines “victory”. Maybe the cruelty against Ukrainians is the whole point and not a means to an end.

mein innerer Sigmund Freud vermutet etwas Pathologisches, wenn sich von der AfD verhasste Mainstream-Journalisten an eben jener AfD regelrecht aufgeilen.
Noch so ein mit Anekdoten ("Chrupalla tankt hier regelmäßig: 1,44 der Liter Diesel! Mit seiner Malerfirma hat er die Brücke gestrichen, über die wir gerade gefahren sind.") gespicktes Porträt eines AfDlers. Der Erkenntnisgewinn ist null, dafür wird die Partei der Rechtsextremen weiter normalisiert.

ich bin in Latein durchgefallen. Mit 15 Jahren. Trotzdem ist nach gesellschaftlichen Standards "etwas aus mir geworden": Heute dresche ich ein paar lateinische Phrasen, die jeder Jurist kennt ("nemo plus iuris...") und fühle eine kurze Genugtuung. Kurzum: Latein ist nicht so wichtig.
Mir ist ja diese Latein-Fetischisierung ein echtes Rätsel. Warum sind Menschen stolz darauf, dass sie mit 50 noch Ovid zitieren können, während sie Gewinn nicht von Cashflow unterscheiden können.
Und warum würde jemand lieber Latein können als eine lebende Sprache?

ich bin in Latein durchgefallen. Mit 15 Jahren. Trotzdem ist nach gesellschaftlichen Standards "etwas aus mir geworden": Heute dresche ich ein paar lateinische Phrasen, die jeder Jurist kennt ("nemo plus iuris...") und fühle eine kurze Genugtuung. Kurzum: Latein ist nicht so wichtig.

Wie der @dietmarpichler.bsky.social immer sagt: Es ist nicht nur Social Media und es sind nicht nur Unbedarfte. Ein Schuldirektor (!) macht sich und seine Schüler zum russischen Propaganda-Werkzeug. Und wie so viele glaubt er vermutlich, es besser zu wissen als der "Mainstream" oder wer auch immer.
