An elementary school class wrote to Ozzie Albies for recommendations for fish for their new class pet

He showed up and taught them how to take care of it, set everything up and gifted them one of his own fish

🥺🥺🥺

I feel this way about pretty much all vaccine-preventable infectious diseases. You shouldn't be allowed to dump cyanide into municipal drinking water and you shouldn't be allowed to recreationally spread viruses around shared public spaces.
My most authoritarian opinion is that the MMR vaccine should be mandatory, with only medical (not religious or floofy) exemptions allowed. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

There seems to be a lot of discussion about Gavin Newsom today.

I wanted to re-share this piece that I wrote, because I have a lot of center-to-left Dems that follow me that want to understand.

There are very good reasons transgender people do not like Gavin Newsom.

New reporting reveals Trump was "made uncomfortable" by Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski's relationship.

He continues to bring up their alleged affair.

at some point you gotta be willing to take 90% of the money for different, less corrosive ads. that point is so far behind us we can't see it, tbc, but the second-best time to start operating that way would be right now.

Wow, almost like the media and journalism profession failed in some sort of professional duty to actually inform these low-engagement voters about what Trump was saying he wanted to do and the consequences of those plans.

There is a moral-failure-of-the-voters here, but it's not the only one.
New poll: In 2024, low-engagement voters went for Trump over Harris by 11 percentage points. But now they disapprove of the way he's handling the presidency by 13. They have moved 25 points against Trump — 2x as large as the shift for high-knowledge voters www.gelliottmorris.com/p/trump-lost...
Trump has lost the voters who weren’t paying attention in 2024
The least-engaged Americans have swung 25 points against him since 2024 — about twice the shift among everyone else. Trump has flattened the engagement gap.

Great idea. I donated. Please do likewise if you can. John's a real person trying doing good in St. Paul (unless his whole career has been one very public long con).
We’re all trying to do something for our neighbors in need here in Minnesota. My wife and I want to raise money to get diapers to families who need them.

Fair to assume until he can show otherwise that Mike Johnson spends 23 hours a day watching AI-generated cartoon Flintstones and Jetsons porn so he doesn’t have time to observe anything else
Q: Rep. Jayapal accused the DOJ of tracking her search history. Is that appropriate conduct?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know anything about that

Q: Bondi had a piece of paper with Jayapal's search history

JOHNSON: I don't know anything about that but it would be inappropriate if it happened

The young'uns that were hired for the previous MST3K reboot were all very talented, and did a great job, but this time around the concept is, "What if we gave the old farts from the original show a shot?" Why not, right? I think it's gonna be fun.
We're SO excited to announce Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff will be the guest bad guys on the fourth and final show of this run. In addition to that, Trace and Frank will be cowriting this episode along with the RiffTrax gang. We're over the moon!
