What gets me the most about all this is that no one seems to think one’s views might legitimately change over the course of fifteen turbulent years - and for Alaa, years spent in prison no less.

The child and parents are US citizens, but that doesn't even matter.
These monsters pepper-sprayed a baby.
We cannot allow ICE to continue this behavior, and they aren't going to reform themselves.

Horrible news all around. My heart is with the victims of the attack in Sydney, with the brave Syrian Ahmed al Ahmed who stopped one of the shooters, and with the Reiner family.
