Very good point.

This isn't about care, it's about politics.
I get it cis people. I do. "I think they should wait until they're older wahh". it's a shit take but it's the cis take.

But even if you do think that it's clearly not compatible with "actually Wes Streeting and that one lady who mysteriously became a baroness after the cass review" deciding is it?

By which time the prescription of puberty blockers will be too late, irreversible changes of puberty will have occurred, dysphoria will persist and the treatment will be deemed ineffective.

Hardly surprising when the doctor in charge has ties to SEGM.

This is not a clinical trial. It’s cruelty.

This report does not quote any trans children, or parents of trans children, or any trans people at all.

It does quote Keira Bell saying it’s “disgusting”, though.

If you know you're trans, that's all the evidence that should be required.
the thing doctors wont tell you

*no one can diagnose you as trans. not a single person can decide whether HRT is right for you or not. every "gender medicine specialist" is literally just "trained" to ask if you're really sure you're trans in 50 different ways before reluctantly having to agree*

Heads up: popular antivirus program Malwarebytes posted this warning about Google training it's AI on our emails. www.malwarebytes.com/blog/news/20...

Apparently this is being gradually rolled out, so if the settings aren't enabled yet you may need to check back later to make sure they're disabled
Gmail can read your emails and attachments to train its AI, unless you opt out
A new Gmail update may allow Google to use your private messages and attachments for AI training. Here's how to turn it off.

Ana decided to call out payment processors and their unilateral response was attempting to fuck up her life and that should be bigger news than it is as of now
The full count as of today:

YouTube suspended
Twitch banned 3x
Patreon suspended (temporary)
Patreon 3x audio flags (one false posi)
Ko-fi suspended (indefinite?)
Buy Me a Coffee suspended
Vice reporting censored
Pornhub censored 3x times
Fansly censored 1x
Is it really a conspiracy to say Ana is being explicitly flagged by finance bros when she's now been banned (or censored) from Twitch, Patreon, Buy Me A Coffee, Ko-Fi, and *PornHub*??

Why are we not calling this out loudly every single day? Why is the media silent? The most powerful western government on earth, UK's "closest ally", is controlled by fascists. It is enacting violent human rights abuses in major cities and we're acting like it's normal.

So the Telegraph’s “BBC bias dossier” - supposedly written by ex-BBC adviser Michael Prescott - is being used to claim there’s a rogue LGBT+ unit “censoring” gender-critical voices inside the BBC.

Let’s look at what’s actually in it. Spoiler: it’s nothing but recycled transphobic talking points!

🧵
For reference - Here’s the Telegraph article with the Prescott memo complaining about the BBC published in FULL.

Obviously, it’s an archived link which circumvents their paywall - as there’s no way I’m gonna give that transphobic rag any clicks or coin! 😣

The BBC appears to have a transphobia problem.
Okay, it looks like the BBC reporting on the BBC Executive Complaints Unit’s finding actually also break the rules...

And we should make a complaint?
Fun fact: The ECU actually used the phrase “trans identity”, not “trans ideology”, and, in editing that quote, this BBC article about a presenter expressing anti-trans views breaching editorial guidelines has itself breached editorial guidelines. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

“Their effects are not permanent, and once a child lets their blocking treatment lapse, puberty will just continue as normal.”

Puberty blockers were the compromise! They were to give the trans youth time to consider before irreversible changes happened.
Because it’s cis kids.
The NHS will quite casually give cis kids whatever treatment they need, even PBs👇
No trials. No concerns about side effects. No moral panic.
