A favorite combination of mine is lobelia pouring out of a terracotta pot with white impatiens in the center. Good in half shade. I want to try a combo of Purple Salvia in the center w/ Sweet Alyssum cascading. It's *way* cheaper than buying ready-mades, but you have to put some planning into it.

I mostly save my seeds year on year, but I can't resist the excitement of a few new things (or the comfort of knowing that this batch will definitely be germinating). Totally geeked to see if I can get something called 'fairy queen salvia' to look anything like the catalog glamor shot.

I put high-cacao dark chocolate bits in my otherwise standard peanut butter cookies and am surprised this isn’t a classic cookie. What the hell this is wonderful. 🍪
