Mucks around with AO3 but under different name. You’re probably looking for a different Whovian. Enthusiastic about theatre. ADHD. She/her.
Because I don’t have enough depressing conversations with my mother, I told her about the WI (she’s a member.) I don’t think she believed me. And then she got weird and made it a class thing, so I guess today she’s cosplaying as (retired) working class.

I just don't need to know what the Telegraph has written about Dungeons & Dragons. It's a newspaper for people who are frightened of samosas.

Every British journalist wants to pretend this OBR thing is clever cyber shit or smoking man bollocks because they think their job is cool. Every OBR person wants it to be a technology problem.

NOBODY wants to accept the reality of "when the box said put live y/n? I thought y was fine."

Which is kind of why I don’t talk on here about the thing I’m fangirling over right now (I love it though) or the holiday I’ve just been on (to see the thing I’m fangirling over live) or the last musical I went to see (not as good as the relatively famous version.)

Every so often, in a post Twitter world, I am fooled into joining a conversation on Discord. It never goes well.
(Also, there are too many Discords. How do people keep up?)

I do live in the UK, so let me repost.
Okay, I can't let this one go. I live in Ireland, not the UK, but the use of this image by a supposedly socialist party is so stupid and offensive, I'm going to get stuck in.

Let me explain to you why any experienced illustrator/designer could have stopped you making so many miserable mistakes. 1/

I came to this country as a child refugee. No English, no certainty, no idea what my life could become. Britain gave me refuge.

Not on a timer, not with conditions attached, but with a chance to grow roots.

UK set to limit refugees to temporary stays
Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

He’s making me a hot Vimto and I’m having a word with myself.

The response last night was so overwhelming, I need a new thread

So a family member died unexpectedly & left behind this sweet girl, who’s now on a 5day hold at a shelter in Eugene OR. I need to get her to Portland Maine to adopt her.

Some offered to chain a ride. Can we get her coast to coast?

I had this conversation in a London (UK) post office. About posting to Scotland. I told my relatives that the good news was they had achieved independence.

We can't tax billionaires, because they might take their tax avoidance to another country. But we can drive out brilliant people who do much-needed work, contribute to our society and culture, pay tax, create jobs, and have done nothing wrong. That's fine, apparently.

What’s frustrating is the only discussion is about model immigrants, but most people are not ‘model minorities’, in the eyes of the state. What of a homemaker taking care of children and older relatives? Will they be *forced to volunteer*, on top of all their duties at home?
Krishnan Guru Murthy, "Isn't it a bit insulting to say to an Indian doctor who is working 60-70 hours a week that in order to get settled status he's got to volunteer?"

Rachel Reeves, "We want people to contribute if they come to our country"

Labour have gone utterly bonkers
