I've copied so many terminal commands from random Linux help pages without knowing the first thing about how they work, and the fact that I've never run into any malicious code is a testament to the grace and kindness is Linux users.

Another reason to caption your videos, besides accessibility for deaf & hearing impaired people, is so that hearing people who don't live in earbuds 24/7 can watch them with the volume off & not annoy everyone else in the vicinity.
